Welcome to the Thursday Club!

Since 1999 we've made it our mission to try to always seek out somewhere new; to try and see the bars, clubs and restaurants we'd all heard about, but thought were too 'cool', or too exclusive for us to get into. Of course, there are plenty of 'ordinary' venues we've found too.

The reviews, features and services we now offer are a direct result of that. The site reflects the bar, club and restaurant culture, and our attempts to visit, enjoy and review these venues in the countries we have been lucky enough to travel to, from London to LA: Brisbane to Barcelona (and growing!).

This incarnation of the site (v3) is not just about us though. We want to hear from you: your reviews, comments, pictures, stories and gossip. We'd love you to have some fun on the site, meet new people with shared interests, and hopefully find a useful reference when you're searching for that perfect night out!
